Jeffrey Vicq is a partner with Clark Wilson LLP’s Intellectual Property and Higher Learning Groups.

He has extensive experience with intellectual property matters, including trade-marks, copyright, trade secrets and the exploitation and transfer of all types of intellectual property rights. He has assisted clients with a broad range of information technology issues, including negotiating and preparing hardware and software development, licensing, distribution, outsourcing, maintenance and purchase contracts, electronic contracting, online content reviews, and internal and external technology use policies. Jeffrey is also experienced in matters relating to personal information protection, having prepared and provided advice concerning privacy practices, policies, guidelines and complaints.

Jeffrey is a frequent speaker and lecturer on intellectual property and technology issues, and has authored numerous articles on trade-mark and copyright law. Prior to joining Clark Wilson, he practiced for several years with a number of large Canadian law firms.
